Meeting Minutes
Wednesday, March 19, 2008
John called the meeting to order.
Jasmine and Molly then suggested we play the icebreaker called, “The Most Unusual Thing.”
Next, the special election for the vacant Points Secretary position was held.
After that, Phillip and Kelly spoke about the opportunity to participate in a Habitat for Humanity building project on Friday, March 21, 2008. They asked that those interested contact them.
Then, Tanja reiterated there would be a short meeting concerning the State Convention directly after our meeting.
Next, Renee and Katie reminded the club Chevy’s night would begin after our meeting.
Then, Caitlin spoke about the Blood Drive. She said the committee would be forming soon, and those interested in participating need to make a firm commitment because points are due directly after the drive.
After that, Saba congratulated our members on a successful See’s Candy fundraiser. We managed to raise $4000, and we get to keep about $2500. In addition, Saba said that the See’s Candy would be distributed directly after the meeting.
Note: For those unable to pick up their candy at the meeting, remaining orders will be available in Andy’s office during his office hours on Monday, March 24, 2008 from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm.
John closed the meeting.
