AGS Bake Sales and Holiday-Grams have often been a great source of raising revenue for the club. However, it requires that the home-baked cookies and treats for the sales meet basic standards and we need the volunteers who sign up for shifts to sell or deliver to show up!!
To make each of our Bake Sales and Holiday-Grams a great success each semester, the following rules have been put in place.
COOKIES:
Cookie or treat size must be the size of your palm! This means approximately 3” in diameter. Cookies that are significantly smaller than this will be grouped into packages of three and sold as a single unit. Points will be reduced accordingly.
Cookies and treats must be individually wrapped. This is for both for sanitary reasons as well as presentation. If the cling-wrap doesn't cling, then use individual sandwich bags.
Store bought cookies will not be displayed for sale and the donation will receive zero points.
VOLUNTEERS:
Volunteers who sign up for booth sales or delivery must show up for their shift. Not showing up will result in a 1 point deduction in the fundraising category which will have to be made up in some other way.
Volunteers are encouraged to find replacements for their shift. In that situation, no point deduction will be made. The replacement volunteer earns the points instead.
